Job summary

Talent is seeking a Geospatial Technical Lead to oversee data migration and transformation projects, bridging GIS data architecture with cloud engineering and Agile delivery.

The role focuses on leading migrations with ESRI ArcGIS, FME Workbench, and SQL, while developing web applications in Python on Azure and enforcing robust CI/CD and testing practices. Hybrid/remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Geospatial expertise with ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise/Pro and spatial SQL.
• Experience leading large-scale spatial data transformation and migration projects.
• Strong Python development skills with Azure cloud services and APIs.
• Experience as a Tech Lead in Agile/Scrum with code reviews and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration and transformation of enterprise geospatial datasets using FME, ArcGIS, and SQL.
• Architect and maintain customer-facing web apps using Python and Azure services.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and manage API definitions with Swagger.
• Lead Scrum activities including estimation, PR reviews, and QA.
• Maintain documentation and assist with out-of-hours deployment/troubleshooting.
