Job summary

Tailored Talent Ltd in the West Midlands is recruiting a Data Delivery Manager to oversee the geospatial and CAD data outputs for major infrastructure projects. You will lead a small survey team, ensure QA compliance, and coordinate with Project and Technical Managers.

Based in Telford with hybrid options, the role requires strong planning, risk management, and clear communication to resolve issues quickly and deliver high-quality data within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Deliver geospatial or CAD projects to defined quality standards.
• Understand geospatial/CAD workflows, standards and software.
• Experience applying QA processes and coordinating survey teams.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with risk management.
• Effective communicator to brief teams and elevate issues.
• Proactive leadership with continuous improvement focus.
• Experience managing sub-contractors in a survey/geospatial environment.
• Degree or equivalent in Geomatics or Surveying preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage geospatial and CAD data outputs to deadlines and quality standards.
• Act as QA Lead; monitor compliance and address non-conformances.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to schedule resources.
• Clarify project specs and brief the geospatial/CAD team.
• Identify and manage delivery risks; escalate as needed.
• Assess subcontractor competency and capacity against project requirements.
• Identify and resolve equipment/software faults with the team.
• Lead project de-briefs and capture lessons learned.
