Job summary

Murphy seeks a Geospatial Solutions Consultant to support surveying and geospatial services across major infrastructure projects in the UK, from Hemel Hempstead or London offices. The role blends technical surveying with consultancy, solution development and commercial delivery.

You will engage with project teams, define requirements, develop survey solutions, prepare scopes of work and fee estimates, and help win bids while advancing geospatial workflows and BIM integration.

Qualifications

• Experience in surveying, geomatics or geospatial industry.
• Broad knowledge of geospatial surveying technologies, methodologies and deliverables.
• Ability to assess project requirements and develop practical, safe and commercially effective survey solutions.
• Experience preparing or supporting scopes of work, estimates or technical proposals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with project teams to understand survey and geospatial requirements.
• Assist in developing practical, safe and commercially effective survey solutions.
• Prepare scopes of work, technical proposals and fee estimates.
• Support the preparation of quotations for geospatial services.
• Provide technical advice on survey methodologies and deliverables.
• Support tender and pre-construction activities.
• Liaise with operational survey teams to ensure accurate project scoping and delivery.
• Identify opportunities for innovative technologies and improved survey workflows.
• Support growth of MAE Geomatics through opportunity identification and solution development.
• Build strong working relationships with project stakeholders and internal customers.
• Maintain awareness of industry best practices and survey standards.
