Job summary

Murphy is seeking a UAS Remote Pilot Surveyor to support projects nationwide in the UK. You will plan and deliver aerial surveys (photogrammetry and LiDAR), set flight plans, and ensure survey-grade results integrated into our digital engineering processes.

You will conduct airspace assessments, RAMS, and work with RTK/PPK workflows, GCPs, and independent check points to meet project specs. The role involves QC of imagery and point clouds and contributing to machine-control workflows.

Qualifications

  • Experience planning and delivering UAS aerial surveys (photogrammetry and LiDAR).
  • Familiarity with CAP722 and UK UAS regulations and RAMS procedures.
  • Ability to process photogrammetry and LiDAR data into orthomosaics, DSM/DTM and classified point clouds.
  • Ability to integrate UAS outputs into digital engineering workflows and machine control datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver UAS aerial surveys (photogrammetry and LiDAR).
  • Conduct airspace assessments, hazard analysis, and RAMS in line with CAP722 and UK UAS regulations.
  • Deploy and survey GCPs/RTK for survey-grade accuracy; execute PPK/RTK workflows.
  • Process datasets to generate orthomosaics, DSM/DTM and point clouds; perform QC.
