Job summary

Arup in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Geospatial Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract to support geospatial analysis, visualisation and information management across projects.

You will help consultants, designers and engineers access, understand and apply geospatial data at project scale, creating spatial models and clear visualisations using ArcGIS Pro, QGIS and related tools, with automation where possible.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Master’s degree in GIS/Remote Sensing/Geoinformatics/Environmental Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise.
• Ability to translate needs into maps and spatial insights with clear visuals.
• Experience with automation and scripting tools (ModelBuilder, Python, SQL).
