Job summary

Arup in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Geospatial Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will support geospatial analysis, visualization and information management to help consultants, designers and engineers access geospatial data at project scale.

The role requires translating business or engineering needs into meaningful maps and spatial insights, with collaboration and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or master’s degree in GIS, Remote Sensing/Earth Observation, Geography, Geoinformatics or Environmental Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience using geospatial applications such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online.
• Ability to create spatial models, manage spatial datasets and produce clear visualisations with tools like Esri Experience Builder or Power BI.
• Experience with automation, scripting or spatial data management tools such as ModelBuilder, FME, Python, SQL Server or PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
• Ability to translate business or engineering needs into maps and spatial insights with strong communication and project management skills.
