Job summary

Arup is seeking an experienced Geospatial Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Leeds. You will support geospatial analysis, visualisation and information management to help consultants and engineers access and apply geospatial data at project scale.

You will contribute to translating business needs into maps and spatial insights, leveraging ArcGIS, QGIS, Power BI and scripting tools, while collaborating across teams to deliver impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or master's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing/Earth Observation, Geography, Geoinformatics or Environmental Science or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience using geospatial applications such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online.
• Ability to create spatial models, manage spatial datasets and produce clear visualisations using tools such as Esri Experience Builder or Power BI.
• Knowledge of automation, scripting or spatial data management tools such as ModelBuilder, FME, Python, SQL Server or PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
• Ability to translate business or engineering needs into meaningful maps and spatial insights, with strong communication, collaboration and project management skills.
