Job summary

Jacobs in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Geospatial Front-end Developer to design and deliver modern web-based mapping applications. You will build intuitive interfaces and interactive geospatial tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams across infrastructure and environmental projects.

You’ll mentor colleagues, stay ahead of geospatial tech trends, and engage with clients to translate technical solutions into real-world outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong front-end development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Proven experience with web mapping technologies such as Mapbox, Leaflet, OpenLayers or Esri APIs (ArcGIS etc).
• Experience building interactive, user-focused web applications and working with modern frameworks.
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work across multidisciplinary teams.
