Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Geospatial Developer to join our UK Digital & Data team. You will design and build modern web-based mapping applications, delivering intuitive interfaces and geospatial tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor others, and help shape best practices while translating client needs into robust, scalable solutions. Hybrid role based in Bristol or London with travel.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in front-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Proven expertise with web mapping technologies such as Mapbox, Leaflet, OpenLayers or Esri APIs (ArcGIS etc).
• Experience building interactive, user-focused web applications and working with modern frameworks.
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work across multidisciplinary teams.
