Job summary

Arup is seeking an experienced Geospatial Developer to design and maintain reliable systems for managing spatial data, enabling consultants, designers and engineers to trust, discover and use geospatial data at project scale.

You will join a collaborative team of geospatial professionals and work across infrastructure, energy, cities and environmental markets, delivering robust workflows and AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

Experience with geospatial applications such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise.
Ability to apply spatial analysis, modelling or AI-enabled workflows (ML, Earth Observation, constraint analysis, route optioneering or site suitability).
Comfort working with data engineering and cloud platforms such as Python, SQL, Databricks or Azure.
Ability to build repeatable, scalable tools for large spatial datasets and enterprise geospatial systems.
Ability to translate business or engineering needs into robust spatial, analytical and AI-enabled workflows.
Has a relevant degree (GIS, Remote Sensing/Earth Observation, Geography, Geoinformatics, Computer Science, Data Science or Environmental Science) or equivalent industry experience and demonstrated learning.
