Job summary

RedRock Consulting is seeking an experienced Data Architect / Data Modeller to design and deliver a geospatial data platform within a large-scale public sector environment. The role focuses on creating a transformed data layer and a common data model to enable future applications.

The candidate will work hands-on across data architecture, modelling and engineering, translating models into implemented solutions and establishing scalable, production-grade platforms.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on data architecture and modelling experience.
• Experience delivering geospatial data platforms and prototyping production-grade solutions.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, AWS and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead data architecture and modelling activities from design to delivery.
• Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to implement models and transformations.
• Define data structures and modelling approaches across Snowflake and AWS.
• Work with geospatial data (vector, raster, imagery) and GIS specialists.
• Ensure lineage, quality, metadata and governance of data assets.
