Job summary

AECOM invites applications for a Geospatial Apprentice in Nottingham. Join the ASSIST team to gain hands-on geospatial, surveying, mapping and data capture experience supporting UK infrastructure projects.

You will work with surveyors, geomatics professionals, UAV pilots, and engineers, progressing from field data collection to processing and reporting. You will pursue a Geospatial Degree Apprenticeship leading to professional accreditation, with Day 1 onboarding and a hybrid work pattern

Qualifications

• GCSEs: 5 or more, with Maths, English and a science subject.
• Three A-Levels with at least grade B or above, science preferred.
• Interest in surveying, mapping, geospatial tech, infrastructure, or site survey work.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Support geospatial surveying and data capture activities across topographic, GNSS, laser scanning, and UAV surveys.
• Assist in processing, QA, and delivery of spatial datasets.
• Learn industry-standard geospatial software and mapping tools.
• Create models, drawings, and geospatial outputs for clients.
