Job summary

Ikon Science seeks a QA Engineer to join our software testing team, focusing on GeoPrediction products. You will perform extensive manual and automated testing, collaborate with developers, support staff and customers, and help ensure software quality and usability across platforms.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work within an Agile environment. Training and onboarding will cover our testing tools and practices.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and maintaining test scripts for desktop and web software.
• Ability to record defects with detailed steps to reproduce and verify fixes.
• Experience developing automated tests (tooling optional on the job).
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile standups, planning, and retrospectives.

Responsibilities

• Execute and document test cases for Ikon Science software.
• Update and maintain test scripts for current product versions.
• Develop automated tests where possible and report defects clearly.
• Provide demonstrations and guidance to internal users and assist with documentation.
