Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Geopolitical Intelligence Team Leader in London to identify global risks and provide strategic insights. You will lead an international team, deliver intelligence outputs for executive decision-making, and ensure alignment with risk management priorities across the enterprise.

You will work with stakeholders across regions, translating complex geopolitical developments into actionable guidance for operational resilience and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Experience leading geopolitical intelligence or analytical teams.
• Ability to synthesize information into actionable intelligence products and strategic assessments.
• Experience in a regulated financial services environment and understanding of governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead hypothesis-driven hunts to identify adversary behaviour and gaps.
• Deliver detective controls and countermeasures with measurable efficacy across security tooling.
• Provide documentation for detections to SOC analysts for effective triage and investigation.
• Collaborate with Red Team activity to assess monitoring, prevention and alerting controls.
