Qualifications

• National Diploma or relevant certification in Geology, Earth Science, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in a geological support role, internships considered.
• Basic understanding of geological principles and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in geological mapping and data collection in the field, including outcrop description and structural measurements.
• Prepare rock and core samples for geological analysis and assaying.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and quality control checks on geological samples.
• Maintain geological databases and assist in data entry and management.
• Operate and maintain geological field equipment.
• Support senior geologists with report preparation and presentation materials.
