Job summary

Our client, a Major Oil and Gas Operator, is seeking an experienced Geologist (new ventures) for an on-site role in Uxbridge. You will lead exploration evaluations, build regional geological databases and assess international opportunities.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams across geoscience, engineering and commercial functions, providing robust recommendations under uncertainty and contributing to growth of the exploration portfolio.

Qualifications

• Significant exploration experience in E&P.
• Strong foundation in basin evaluation and petroleum systems.
• Experience with frontier basins and complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead geological evaluations across New Ventures and M&A opportunities.
• Develop regional geological databases and basin expertise.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess prospectivity and risk.
• Present clear recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor advances in exploration technologies.
