Job summary

Teach South, in partnership with a Southampton secondary school, is seeking a dedicated Geography teacher to start immediately and cover KS3–KS4 until the end of the academic year. The role centres on delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and support progress.

You will adapt resources for a range of abilities, maintain strong classroom management, monitor pupil progress, and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment so every student can reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
• Able to differentiate lessons for varied abilities.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4.
• Adapt and tailor lesson plans and resources to meet learners' needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote learning.
