Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting a Geography Teacher for a supportive Cambridge secondary school. You will plan and deliver engaging KS3/KS4 geography lessons, manage coursework, and lead fieldwork.

The role offers full-time, long-term employment with competitive daily rates (£150-£260) paid weekly. Applicants must have QTS or QTLS, an Enhanced DBS, and proven UK secondary classroom experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or QTLS and have UK secondary school experience.
• Proven track record as Geography Teacher in a UK secondary setting.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain via Randstad).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3/KS4 (GCSE) aligned to the UK curriculum.
• Own full curriculum preparation, coursework support, and GCSE exam prep.
• Lead fieldwork studies and data collection to connect theory with real-world contexts.
• Differentiate instruction to support all abilities and drive high achievement.
• Collaborate with humanities colleagues to refine schemes and support eco-clubs/trips.
