Job summary

Vision for Education is the MSP for the Advanced Learning Partnership (ALP) and is recruiting a Geography Teacher to work across ALP secondary schools in the North East. The role covers KS3/KS4 with opportunities for day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements.

You will be joining a dedicated team with regular opportunities in Hummersknott Academy, Staindrop Academy, Greenfield Academy and other partner sites.

Qualifications

• QTS required.
• Experience teaching Geography in a secondary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Teach Geography to KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver engaging geography lessons across ALP secondary schools.

The Role

As the exclusive provider of day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply staffing within ALP, we have regular opportunities available throughout the academic year.

Requirements

To be considered for the Geography Teacher position, you will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Geography Teacher within a secondary school
• A passion for supporting the progress of secondary school pupils
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
