TeacherActive Ltd, on behalf of partner Leeds secondary schools, is seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher for day-to-day supply across KS3/KS4. You will deliver engaging Geography lessons, maintain strong classroom management and tailor your approach to a diverse range of learners.

Applicants with QTS (ECTs welcome) and proven Geography experience across KS3/KS4 are encouraged to apply. The role offers flexible scheduling and competitive daily pay rates.

Qualifications

• QTS or ECTs eligible to apply.
• Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong knowledge of Geography National Curriculum and GCSE requirements.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Ability to differentiate lessons for learners with additional needs.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of mainstream secondary schools based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher. The schools provide a learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their geographical knowledge, critical thinking skills and understanding of the wider world.

The schools are looking for a flexible Geography Teacher to provide supply cover on a day-to-day basis, delivering Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Geography Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, maintain effective classroom management and adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.

The successful Geography Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Geography across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Geography National Curriculum and GCSE requirements
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
• The ability to differentiate lessons to support students with additional learning needs
• A flexible, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
