GSL is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our secondary schools in Sheffield starting in September 2024.

Job Summary:

As a Geography Teacher (QTS) for KS3 and KS4, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive geography lessons that inspire and challenge students. Your role will include planning and implementing an effective curriculum, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success and development of the geography department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Delivering engaging and comprehensive geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

- Developing and implementing a geography curriculum that meets educational standards and student needs.

- Assessing and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.

- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's overall goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in geography.

- Proven experience in teaching geography at KS3 and KS4 levels.

- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
