Prospero Teaching is seeking a Geography Teacher to cover KS3 and KS4 in Oldham starting January 2027 for two terms. You will be responsible for delivering Geography across key stages and may have pastoral duties within a Form Group.

The role is suitable for an ECT seeking induction support or an experienced teacher seeking a long-term supply booking. UK QTS and safeguarding training within the last year are required.

KS3/4 Geography Specialist - January 2027 - Oldham

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Geography Teacher, to start a two term position in January 2027. You will be responsible for teaching Geography, both to KS3 and KS4. This timetable would be suitable for an ECT looking for support with their Induction terms, or a more experienced colleague looking for a long term supply booking. Experience of teaching Key Stage 4 Geography is essential for this position.

The school is a mainstream Secondary School with a supportive cover team and teaching staff. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. Our school is easily accessible by road (M60, M62, A627), so this position is ideal for colleagues based in Greater Manchester, Lancashire or West Yorkshire. Our school recently underwent a thorough and extensive renovation programme and now boasts some of the best facilities in the local authority.

Behaviour on the whole is positive and any isolated issues are dealt with by a positive, pro-active \"on call\" team with a wealth of experience in pastoral matters. You would also have pastoral responsibilities with a Form Group.

The position is open to NQT's/ECT's and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
