Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a secondary school in Rainham. This is a permanent, full-time role starting in September 2026. You will be teaching classroom-based geography with responsibilities including strong classroom management and up-to-date safeguarding practices.

To be eligible, candidates must hold QTS, right to work in the UK, and provide professional references. The pay will be according to scale for Outer London.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school setting
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
