Teach South Kent is seeking a Geography Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Wadhurst for a full-time maternity cover starting January 2027. The role involves teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and supporting students to progress academically.

Applicants should have QTS or relevant teaching experience, strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum, and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive department.

Geography Teacher - Maternity Cover

Location: Wadhurst, East Sussex
Start Date: January 2027
Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover
Pay: £32,000 - £51,000 per annum (MPS1 - UPS3, dependent on experience)
Teach South Kent are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Wadhurst who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position starting in January 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for a new role from January, joining a supportive department and contributing to the continued development of Geography across the school.

The Role

• Teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4

The Ideal Candidate
