Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking a Geography Teacher to work at a Folkestone based secondary school. The role is to start in September and will be until the end of the academic year - full time with a salary of between £31,650 and £49,084 depending on experience.

The role:

• Plan and deliver interactive lessons across KS3 and KS4 to make geography come alive in the classroom
• Plan lessons accordingly to ensure all abilities are catered for
• Attend departmental meetings when required
• Manage the behaviour of the students effectively to ensure a positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience of teaching Geography at secondary level
• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
