Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a Geography Teacher for a secondary school in Coventry City Centre to start in September 2026 for a full-time, long-term assignment.

You will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, taking on full teaching responsibilities including planning and delivering lessons, assessing and marking students' work, monitoring progress, writing reports, and attending parents' evenings for KS3 and KS4.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.

Job description

Flourish Education is recruiting for a Geography Teacher to work at a secondary school in Coventry City Centre. This is a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2026 and continuing until July 2027.

The school is looking for a Geography Teacher to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established Humanities department and deliver engaging lessons that support students in developing their geographical knowledge and understanding.

The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning and delivering lessons, assessing and marking students' work, monitoring progress, writing reports, and attending parents' evenings for KS3 and KS4 students.

Required Skills and Experience as a Geography Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Previous experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school

• A good understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
