Job summary

Kingsway Park High School is seeking a Curriculum Lead in Geography to shape and lead our Geography curriculum. The post is full time and permanent, with a leadership remit to inspire and develop learners across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The role involves driving high standards and supporting colleagues in delivering engaging, enquiry-led Geography. The successful candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, energy and ambition, with a clear vision for a progressive curriculum and exciting learning

Qualifications

• Excellent Geography knowledge with leadership experience.
• Ability to design and sequence a KS3/KS4 Geography curriculum.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and collaboration with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Shape and develop an ambitious, engaging and well-sequenced Geography curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire students to think critically and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
• Lead and support colleagues, sharing expertise and developing teaching practice.
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning and achievement to ensure every student succeeds.
• Bring Geography to life through enquiry, fieldwork and meaningful connections beyond the classroom.
