Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers in London is seeking a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a hybrid, permanent role. You will undertake site investigations, environmental sampling, assess ground conditions and contamination, and contribute to Phase 1 and Phase 2 reporting.

This position requires a relevant degree, geoenvironmental experience, strong writing, willingness to work on site, and a full UK driving licence. The role offers £30,000-£40,000 with benefits and a good work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or similar.
• Previous geoenvironmental, contaminated land or ground investigation experience.
• Strong technical writing and reporting skills.
• Comfortable working on site.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and assist with site investigations.
• Carry out environmental sampling and monitoring.
• Assess ground conditions and potential contamination.
• Interpret site and laboratory data.
• Prepare Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports.
• Support remediation and verification strategies.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Contribute to projects from site investigation through to reporting and delivery.
