Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a leading environmental and engineering consultancy. The role involves supporting Phase I and Phase II investigations, fieldwork, environmental monitoring and reporting on projects across the UK.

You'll liaise with clients and project teams, with opportunities for professional development, chartership support, and career progression.

Qualifications

• BSc in Geology, Environmental Science, Geoscience or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Live in or near Bristol, within a reasonable commute to the office.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver Phase I and Phase II investigations.
• Undertake site-based fieldwork, environmental monitoring and sampling.
• Complete soil logging and contribute to factual and interpretative reporting.

As a Geoenvironmental Engineer, you'll support and deliver Phase I and Phase II investigations, undertake site-based fieldwork, environmental monitoring and sampling, complete soil logging, and contribute to factual and interpretative reporting. You'll also liaise with clients, contractors and project teams while supporting project delivery.

Requirements

To succeed as a Geoenvironmental Engineer, you'll ideally have:

• Relevant geoenvironmental/contaminated land experience
• A BSc in Geology, Environmental Science, Geoscience or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• A full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UKYou must live in or near Bristol, within a reasonable commute of the office
