JP Engineering in Bristol is looking for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a growing environmental consultancy. The role combines hands-on site work with technical reporting, allowing you to gain practical field experience and then translate findings into high-quality Phase 1/Phase 2 reports.

You will work across contaminated land, ground investigation and remediation projects, balancing site visits with office work and benefiting from a clear path for career progression and a competitive

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or a related subject.
• Experience in geoenvironmental, contaminated land or ground investigation.
• Confident with technical report writing.
• Comfortable working on site and outdoors.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Keen to develop your technical and project experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and support ground investigations and site work.
• Undertake environmental sampling, monitoring and site assessments.
• Interpret ground investigation and laboratory data.
• Prepare Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports.
• Contribute to remediation and verification reports.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.
• Support project delivery from initial investigation through to completion.
• Balance office-based technical work with regular site visits.
