Job summary

Ridge is seeking a Geoenvironmental Consultant to join their Southampton team. The role blends site and office work across ground investigation and contaminated land projects, involving Phase 1/2 environmental assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, and report production.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Geology or Environmental Science with relevant geoenvironmental experience and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or related subject.
• Experience in geoenvironmental or contaminated land roles.
• Experience carrying out site investigations and producing reports.

Responsibilities

• Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental assessments.
• Ground investigations and site work.
• Soil and groundwater sampling.
• Ground gas monitoring.
• Contaminated land assessments.
• Remediation and validation.
• Producing factual and interpretive reports.
• Liaising with clients, contractors and other consultants.
