Job summary

WSP is seeking a field-focused Ground Gas and Groundwater Monitor to join our Ground & Water team in the UK. The role is predominantly site-based with travel across the UK.

You will conduct ground gas and groundwater monitoring, assist with soil logging and environmental sampling, and support project teams with data and client liaison. We value practical, proactive individuals with a full UK driving licence, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to travel to sites across the UK.
• Desire to learn and develop; proactive questioning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Site safety qualifications desirable (e.g. first aid).

Responsibilities

• Completion of ground gas and groundwater monitoring and sampling.
• Assisting with ground investigations including soil logging, environmental sampling, and chemical and geotechnical testing.
• Communicating and liaising effectively with clients, subcontractors and assisting the project team.
• Data collation.
• Adherence (with training) to best technical, engineering and health and safety practice.
