Job summary

JP Engineering is recruiting a Geoenvironmental Engineer for the South West region. The role combines fieldwork with office-based analysis on diverse projects, delivering high-quality ground investigation and contaminated land work while developing technical expertise in a supportive team.

You will plan investigations, supervise fieldwork, log soils and rock, and prepare reports. A related degree, consultancy experience, strong communication, and a UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Previous consultancy experience in a geoenvironmental or geotechnical role.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Carrying out contaminated land and geoenvironmental assessments.

Geoenvironmental Engineer – South West

Salary: up to £35,000 + Benefits

Ready to build your career with a growing consultancy? We're expanding our South West team and are looking for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join us. If you enjoy a mix of fieldwork and technical office-based work, and want to work on a diverse range of projects, we'd love to hear from you.

From residential developments and commercial schemes to major infrastructure and brownfield regeneration, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality ground investigation and contaminated land projects while developing your technical skills alongside an experienced team.
