Zusammenfassung

Tetra Tech is seeking a Geo-environmental Consultant to deliver engineering geology and geo-environmental services across projects in the north of England, including Leeds or Manchester. You will work within a team of specialists delivering desk studies, site investigations, monitoring and reporting for private and public sector clients.

The role offers hybrid working with travel to sites across the north, opportunities to develop technical skills, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifikationen

• A degree or Masters in geology or engineering geology, with experience in ground investigation, geotechnical and geo-environmental assessment and reporting.
• Experience in mining risk, earthworks and remediation is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, IT literacy, and a good understanding of health, safety and CDM regulations are important.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site work are required.

Aufgaben

• Deliver engineering geology and geo-environmental services across a range of challenging projects and sites.
• Support key clients such as water utilities, development organisations and government bodies.
• Assist with the design, procurement, supervision, management and reporting of geotechnical and geo-environmental assessments and site investigation.
• Produce desk study assessments, collect site data and produce detailed factual and interpretative reports, including ground gas and groundwater monitoring.
