Job summary

Lucion is seeking a proactive Geo-Environmental Consultant to assess land contamination and environmental risks across diverse development projects in the UK. You will conduct Phase I/II assessments, interpret data, and prepare technical reports with remediation strategies.

The role requires a degree in Environmental Science or Geology, 3+ years in geo-environmental consultancy, and strong communication skills. Driving licence is essential and flexible working options may be available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Geology or related discipline.
• 3+ years in geo-environmental consultancy or contaminated land.
• Knowledge of UK environmental regulations and contaminated land guidance.
• Experience with site investigation techniques, environmental sampling and data interpretation.
• Strong technical report writing skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead/assist on Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments.
• Assess soil and groundwater contamination and conduct risk assessments.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and remediation strategies.
• Support project delivery with senior consultants and project managers to meet timelines and budgets.
• Engage with clients, contractors and regulators to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Develop innovative solutions for land contamination and environmental challenges.
