We are seeking an Associate Director to join our Environmental Compliance and Ground Engineering Team at various locations across the UK.

This key role involves supporting a team of geoenvironmental specialists in delivering desk studies, intrusive ground investigations, GIR / GDR reports, remedial methodologies, validation reports, Material Management Plans, waste management, waste classification, coal mining risk assessments, mineral assessments, and high-quality development advice.
You will manage all aspects of ground condition and multidisciplinary consenting, due diligence, and construction projects across the UK. This includes engaging with clients (proposals and terms), overseeing technical delivery, coordinating deliverables, liaising with clients, managing finances, and handling projects ranging from small residential developments to large construction schemes.
You will also coordinate major multidisciplinary and ground condition-related bids.
We seek a highly organized, excellent communicator, and commercially savvy individual who can lead projects proactively. A strong technical knowledge of ground condition assessments is essential, and familiarity with related disciplines (ecology, archaeology, flood risk, etc.) is desirable. Experience with reviewing and managing contractual terms, especially under NEC contracts, is highly beneficial.
This role suits someone with significant project delivery experience in a multidisciplinary consultancy who enjoys diverse projects, is eager to learn, and is a natural problem solver.
