The Genuine Dining Company is seeking a Barista/General Assistant to join our front-of-house team. You will craft high-quality coffee, deliver friendly service, and help maintain a clean, welcoming space in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time, permanent role offers a pay rate of £12.71 per hour and a salary up to £26,500 per year, with employee benefits including a canteen, pension, cycle-to-work scheme, and discounts on food.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers to the highest standard, going above and beyond to create memorable experiences.
• Build strong, friendly relationships with regular and new customers alike.
• Take customer orders accurately and ensure they are delivered with a warm smile.
• Handle payments efficiently using the till system.
• Set up the coffee station with all necessary supplies and equipment for a successful shift.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages to company standards.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized coffee station throughout the day.
• Clean and care for coffee machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Supporting with orders of all coffee, cleaning ad disposable supplies to ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Assist in the preparation and display of food items, ensuring freshness and visual appeal.
• Keep counters, displays, and service areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked throughout the day.
• Keep seating and service areas clean, tidy, and inviting for customers at all times.
• Support your fellow team members—teamwork is essential to our success.
• Be flexible and ready to assist in other areas of service when needed.
