Job summary

East Genomics, hosted by Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a data analyst to join the Cambridge Genomics Laboratory. You will develop datasets and reports to support the genomics service, finance and senior management with timely insights.

The role requires delivering statutory and financial reporting, building robust data pipelines and creating dashboards to inform decision making. A NHS context is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification, or equivalent relevant experience
• Evidence of continued development
• Degree in informatics, analysis, statistics

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing laboratory datasets and reports, providing analysis and insights into their contents, and assuring their quality.
• Implementing policies and processes for Cambridge Laboratory data analysis, working under our laboratory change management process.
• Collaborating with other data analysts in the region to share best practice and implement appropriate solutions to support operational management of the Cambridge Laboratory.
