Job summary

Genomics England is seeking a Research Study Coordinator to join the Study Management Team on a two-year fixed-term contract. You will provide coordination and operational support for research studies across the Generate Research Data Service, gaining exposure to diverse data and multidisciplinary teams.

You will track actions, timelines and governance requirements, helping studies progress smoothly. You will support planning, input tracking, and reporting while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• Experience in a research, scientific, healthcare or similar complex environment.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Accurate documentation, records and trackers.
• Ability to coordinate inputs across teams and follow up actions.
• Identify and escalate risks, issues and dependencies while delivering quality work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver research studies across the service.
• Support stakeholder relationships and coordinate meetings and inquiries.
• Track data delivery, timelines and quality against specifications.
• Assist with study feasibility assessment and setup across functions.
• Maintain up-to-date study documentation and trackers in agreed systems.
• Prepare reports, updates and governance materials within deadlines.
• Capture and monitor risks, issues and dependencies and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate meetings and workshops to move studies forward.
