Job summary

Genex in Dudley Head Office, UK-wide travel, is seeking an experienced Flushing Engineer to deliver pre-commission cleaning, flushing and water treatment across commercial and industrial projects.

You'll work with seasoned colleagues on challenging projects using industry-leading equipment to ensure safe, efficient commissioning and full compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience within flushing, water treatment or building services.
• Knowledge of pre-commission cleaning and closed-system treatment.
• Experience operating flushing and filtration equipment.
• Good understanding of heating and chilled water systems.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel and stay away when required.
• Experience with conventional and CPC filtration flushing.
• Knowledge of BSRIA BG29 and BG50 guidance.

• Installation and operation of flushing rigs, pumps and filtration equipment

• Working closely with colleagues, clients and site teams to deliver exceptional service

The Opportunity
As a Flushing Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering pre-commission cleaning, flushing and water treatment services across a variety of commercial and industrial projects nationwide.

You'll work with experienced colleagues on technically challenging projects, using industry-leading equipment and processes to ensure systems are commissioned safely, efficiently and in full compliance with industry standards.

No two days are the same. One week you could be supporting the delivery of a major data centre project, the next carrying out chemical cleaning and system treatment works for a hospital or commercial development.

You'll have the autonomy to do what you do best, whilst benefiting from the support of a knowledgeable management team that's committed to your development.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-commission cleaning of heating and chilled water systems
