Additional Resources Ltd is seeking a Generator Service Engineer to provide on-site engineering support across demolition, civil engineering, plant hire and power generation projects. The role covers maintenance, fault diagnosis, servicing and commissioning, with an on-call rota and overtime opportunities.

The position offers a 39-hour week at £17.25 per hour with potential overtime and benefits. Prior generator experience and strong mechanical/electrical skills are essential for delivering

Qualifications

Prior generator experience is essential.
Experience in mechanical / electrical engineering, or diesel fitting.
Familiarity with DSE/Deep Sea systems and genera

Responsibilities

Carrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
Selecting appropriate specialist equipment, connectors and testing tools for maintenance and repairs.
Setting up equipment in line with customer specifications.
Carrying out modifications to equipment when required and instructed.
Repairing and maintaining machinery in accordance with company and manufacturer requirements.
Responding to equipment breakdowns and providing effective technical support to customers.
Participating in the on-call rota and working overtime when required, sometimes at short notice.
Attending relevant training and contributing positively to ongoing technical development.

An opportunity has arisen for a Generator Service Engineer to join a well-established engineering and construction firm, specialising in demolition, civil engineering, plant hire and power generation services.

As a Generator Service Engineer, you will be providing on-site engineering support, maintaining equipment, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs, servicing and commissioning work.

This role offers salary of £17.25 per hour for 39-hour work week plus overtime opportunities and benefits.
