Job summary

UST is seeking a Generative AI Scientist to design and deliver agent-based, AI-enabled solutions for complex enterprise environments. This hands-on role focuses on production-grade AI systems with scalable, secure outcomes and close collaboration with engineering teams and business stakeholders.

You will build multi-agent orchestration, develop LLM-enabled applications, and deploy on AWS, implementing robust testing, observability, and guardrails while contributing reusable patterns to UST's AI

Qualifications

• Hands-on delivery of Generative AI / LLM-based applications.
• Experience with agent frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar).
• Experience deploying production systems in AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop multi-agent orchestration workflows (supervisor / sub-agent patterns).
• Integrate AI workflows into client systems via secure APIs.
• Design effective prompting strategies and context management; implement structured outputs and safety guardrails.
• Build and optimise retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Develop Python-based backend services (APIs, integrations, orchestration layers).
• Apply strong engineering discipline across testing, observability, and error handling.
