Job summary

Octavius Finance is seeking an IG Credit Analyst (Generalist) to join our London team. You will assess investment grade corporate bonds, build independent credit views and contribute to portfolio ideas across multiple sectors.

Candidates should have 3-5 years' corporate credit research experience in asset management, investment banking or a comparable environment, with strong financial modelling and clear written communication.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in corporate credit research within an asset manager, investment bank or comparable investment environment.
• Experience analysing investment grade corporate bonds.
• Broad sector coverage across non-financial corporates.
• Strong understanding of corporate financial statements, credit metrics, capital structures and credit analysis.
• Excellent financial modelling, analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to form independent credit views and articulate investment conclusions.
• Experience across sectors such as industrials, consumer, healthcare, technology, telecommunications, utilities, energy and materials.
• Generalist corporate credit position; focus on financial institutions is less suitable.
