Octavius Finance seeks an Investment Grade Credit Analyst to join its fixed income team in London. The role requires 3–5 years’ experience in credit research, strong modelling skills and clear communication of investment views to portfolio managers.

You will analyse diverse industries, monitor credit quality and contribute to the team’s investment views and positioning within an established platform.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in corporate credit research.
• Experience analysing investment grade corporate bonds.
• Broad generalist sector coverage across multiple non-financial corporates.
• Strong understanding of credit metrics and capital structures.
• Excellent modelling, analytical and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental credit research across global investment grade corporate bonds.
• Analyse corporate financial statements, business models, capital structures and credit metrics.
• Assess creditworthiness, identify investment opportunities and monitor existing positions.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models and credit analysis.
• Produce investment recommendations and communicate findings to portfolio managers and the wider investment team.
• Monitor industry developments, macroeconomic factors and company-specific events impacting credit quality.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the team's investment views and portfolio positioning.
