Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Chesterfield is seeking a Generalist Adviser to join our advice services team. The role involves delivering face-to-face and telephone guidance on welfare benefits, assisting clients with claims, and offering energy advice.

There is flexibility for some remote work where appropriate. The position is permanent and part-time (22.2 hours per week), with a hybrid mix of home and office working and travel to outreach locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face and telephone advice on welfare benefit eligibility and associated claims.
• Check welfare benefit eligibility and assist clients to make benefit claims.
• Provide energy advice to clients and advise on related issues.
• Travel to outreach locations and other community venues; some remote/home working where appropriate.

Job description

Hours: 22.2 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £27,263 to £29,806 per annum, pro rata (depending on experience)

Location: Chesterfield (A hybrid mix of home and office working with travel to outreach locations and other community venues)

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Generalist Adviser to join our existing advice services team who deliver advice to the public on a wide range of issues. The post will involve providing both face-to-face and telephone advice, based at one of our local offices, with travel to outreach locations and other community venues. The role will require you to provide advice on our main enquiry areas including checking welfare benefit eligibility, assisting clients to make benefit claims, challenging decisions and providing energy advice. There is flexibility in this role which allows for some remote/home working where appropriate.
