BDS Ltd. is seeking a General Warehouse Operative progressing to Print Operative at their factory in Barlby, North Yorkshire. Starting salary £12.71 per hour during a 3-month probation, with a 47.5 hour work week from Monday to Friday.

Training will be provided to develop skills in operating glass screen-printing machinery. The role focuses on safety, machine setup, ink and screen changes, quality checks and producing pre-production samples.

Competenze

• Prior experience in a print production role is not required.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for quality.
• Good communication skills for dealing with internal teams.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workloads effectively.
• A proactive team player with a hands-on approach.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 procedures and compliance is preferable but not essential.

Starting Salary £12.71per hour (£31,390 pa) during initial 3-month Probation Period.

Factory based: Barlby , North Yorkshire (Nr Selby)
Hours Monday – Friday, 7.00am to 5.00pm (47.5 hours per week)

Lunch Break: 30 minutes

Role Overview

Initially working in the Print Department with Machine Operatives, assisting in all aspects of operating a Screen-Printing Machine printing on glass.Training will be provided allowing you the opportunity to develop and progress your skills to a job where you are fully trained and qualified in all key aspects of the glass printing business.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to: -

The tasks will develop and eventually involve operating a machine safely to the highest quality standards, and include the following:

• Safety checks on the equipment you are using
