Job summary

Academics are recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Chepstow area. You will support pupils academically and pastorally, working closely with the class teacher to help children feel confident and ready to learn within a friendly, supportive team.

The role offers a long-term placement with flexible working where possible, and a consultant from Academics will support you throughout your placement.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS Update Service or willingness to apply
• Registered with Education Workforce Council or willing to register
• Two professional references relating to working with children
• A genuine passion for supporting children and their learning

General Teaching Assistant - Chepstow

Academics are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Chepstow area.

Working alongside the class teacher and wider school team, you'll provide valuable support to pupils both academically and pastorally, helping them feel confident, engaged and ready to learn.

• Is reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable
• Holds an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or is willing to apply
• Is registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or is willing to register
• Can provide two professional references relating to working with children
