This school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated General Science Teacher to join their secondary school team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for science and encouraging curiosity and critical thinking. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons across biology, chemistry, and physics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Create engaging and practical learning experiences, including hands-on experiments and investigations.
Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Develop a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and share best practices.
Contribute to extracurricular science clubs, STEM activities, and school events.
Ideal General Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a science-related subject.
Experience teaching science at the secondary level (Key Stage 3 and 4).
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young scientists.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a General Science Teacher.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all students.
