Job summary

Sytner Group is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager for Sytner Select Bristol. You will drive profitability in new and used vehicle departments, manage enquiries and leads, and lead the sales team to exceed targets while maintaining high customer retention.

The role includes mentoring staff and conducting weekly sales meetings. This full-time position may require weekend work to ensure top-tier service.

About the role

Sytner Group has a rare and very exciting opportunity for an experienced General Sales Manager to join our management team at Sytner Select Bristol.

As a Sytner General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the profitability in both the new and used vehicle departments and for customer retention. You will be required to manage enquiries and leads, and to maximise sales rates through the sales and customer process. In addition, you will manage and be responsible for the retention and prospecting activity to existing customers.

You will also help hire and monitor the performance of the sales executives and hold weekly sales meetings and conduct sales mentoring and support.

This is a full-time role which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

About you

Ideally, you will have a proven track record of success in a similar position within the Automotive industry.

The ability to be able to lead and motivate a team to exceed targets and maximise profitability across all areas of the Sales department is essential.

We are looking for someone who has high standards, the capability to bring new ideas to the table and the ability to drive the performance of the sales team and to take our sales departments to a whole new level.
