Job summary

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking general radiographers to join the radiology department across York and Scarborough. The role spans general imaging, theatres, fluoroscopy, DEXA and the Emergency Department, with a share of the 24/7 out-of-hours rota and work across satellite sites.

The post supports progression from Band 5 to Band 6 through a competency-based route and funded postgraduate study, with extensive learning opportunities and HCPC registration

Qualifications

• Level 6 radiography qualification is required.
• Evidence of continuous professional development is expected.

Responsibilities

• Work across general department including Theatres, Fluoroscopy, DEXA and ED.
• Take part in the 24/7 out-of-hours rota.
• Work across satellite sites (Selby, Clifton Park Hospital, Askham Bar).
• Progress from Band 5 to Band 6 via competency-based route.
• Provide high quality, patient-centred diagnostic radiology as part of a MDT.
